Southern Alberta Drifters

The Drifters run an efficient low-cost operation that only charges a membership fee of $20 Cdn per family per year.  There is no initiation fee but members will be charged $20 a person for a membership badge.  All events are self-sufficient with attendees paying for the costs of holding group dinners, some events, and things like firewood.  

We need and ask for volunteers to host rallies either as a single member or in combination with another member.  The Hosts will design the weekend events and plan and prepare the common meals.  In a four-day, 3-night event there is usually one potluck supper, one prepared supper, one or two hot breakfasts, and a continental breakfast on the last morning.  

Events during a rally can include outdoor games such as ladder golf and bean bag toss, indoor games such as Card Bingo, geocaching poker runs, wine tasting tours, golf, local historic tours, etc.
